José van de Gaar

I studied analytical chemistry (MBO) and I have been working at Maastricht University since 1975 in the field of immunology to follow several processes leading to diseases (transplant rejection, autoimmunity and atherosclerosis). At the moment I am working on  immunological processes leading to diabetic disease, atherosclerosis or fatty liver disease.
