Mitch Ramaekers

Post doc

In 2019, Mitch Ramaekers obtained his medical degree after completing his senior internships in Cardiology and Radiology. He subsequently worked full-time as a PhD candidate at Maastricht UMC+ and Leiden University Medical Center, focussing on cardiovascular imaging, with a particular emphasis on 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging in aortic aneurysms.

Currently, he combines a part-time postdoctoral position with his residency in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. His main clinical interests are cardiovascular and abdominal radiology.

Mitch his current research focusses on advanced cardiovascular imaging, with a particular interest in optimising imaging strategies for the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease.
