Anouk Achten receives NVVC Durrer Prize at spring congress
During the Dutch Society of Cardiology (NVVC) Spring Congress held on April 16 and 17, the Durrer Prize was awarded to Anouk Achten (Dept of Cardiology). Anouk received the award in recognition of her significant scientific contributions in the field of heart failure. Her research focuses on improving the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, with the goal of further personalising and optimising patient care.
The Durrer Prize is awarded annually to young researchers in cardiology and aims to encourage innovative scientific work within the field. Heart failure remains a major and growing health condition, where early detection and appropriate treatment are crucial. The recognition of Anouk aligns closely with the national Heart Failure Week in the Netherlands, which raises awareness and promotes improved care for patients with heart failure.
