Dr. Dionne Braeken studied nursing at Zuyd Hogeschool, followed by a master in Health Education and Promotion at Maastricht University. Her PhD thesis was on Respiratory infections, exacerbations and the microbiome in COPD. Currently, she works as Thrombosis vigilance officer at the Thrombosis Expertise Center (TEC) of the MUMC+ Heart+Vascular Center.
