During the SEOHS symposium on January 23, Lia Bica, PhD candidate at CARIM+HVC, received the Prof. Dr. Klopper Award from the Foundation for Scientific Research by Assistants in Surgical Specialties.

Dr Rogier Veltrop (Dept of Biochemistry) has been awarded the Zeldzame Engel Award in the category Patient Representative by the VSOP, the Dutch umbrella organisation for rare and genetic diseases.
